Tracks of my Liberation
I wrestled a while with the notion of freedom I was knew where I wanted to go but was unsure of how to get there And so I wrestled Maybe its natural or nurtured. The need to acquire, the need to need and attach Like a rubix cube, trying to work out the right way to shed the load Ensnared, like a man already almost dead Being guided towards the watery bottom by stone captors Possessing and obliging myself in to suffocation Then Eureka Divine inspiration, like the stars aligning. Moses at the sea parting A way was made So I walked along, unaware where the path would / will lead me I hurried along because my time had come From all that sought to enslave me towards the promise land Faithfully and fearfully I know it Across a desert to the place in my dreams Will the burning sand burn away the passion in my feet While I might get hungry and thirsty All I know is I just got to keep walking Got to keep walking And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it...
